If you have a favourite charity that you support, and you also own a car, why not consider combining the two while at the same time taking a trip around Europe over a few days or a week and enjoying a holiday?
At Fireball Rally we arrange a number of these combination car rallies every year. Joining our European Car Rally can be an immense amount of fun while at the same time being challenging and bringing in a lot of donations to your charity.
It doesn’t matter which charity you support. It might be the Dog’s Trust, National Trust, RSPCA, NSPCC, St John Ambulance, Red Cross, or any one of some 400,000 others active in the UK at any given moment.
Imagine bringing in £2,000, £3,000, £5,000, or even £!0,000 for your charity while enjoying a tour through Europe. It doesn’t matter if you want to use your own everyday car, your old banger that you just use at weekends for a bit of fun, or anything else.
When you join a European Car Rally that we organise, you pay a fee which covers certain things such as the cost of overnight camping sites. On the first day, we all meet up at Dover and stay in a hotel, and then the next morning sail to Calais from where the fun begins. The rally is on a circuit, so that wherever we are going, at the end we all finish up back at Calais for the trip back across the Channel.
James Bond Swiss Run
For instance, in September this year we are organising the James Bond Swiss Run which heads off to Switzerland and takes in Liechtenstein, Italy, Austria, Germany and Belgium over a four-day period. Included in your fee is a polo shirt in your size with the destination on the back and the Fireball Rally Crest on the front.
You get a sunscreen with your chosen team-name on it (think Wimbledon Wallies, Northampton Nutters, London Loonies – you get the idea), decals with your car number on them, and even free radios (£20 deposit) so that you can talk to other competitors along the way.
Not only that, but you can choose your own route. Just as long as you finish up at the campsite for the night, you can get there however you wish.
All this, while at the same time raising money from your sponsors for your own charity! Oh, and you might win a trophy as well! What’s not to like?
