For those of you who love a Classic Car Rally, in May next year at Fireball Rally, we are offering you the opportunity to visit Monaco for the FI Grand Prix. This takes place on Sunday May 25th, and our trip runs from May 23rd to the 30th.

The rally begins on the evening of May 23rd with a briefing in Kent. Drivers and navigators from all over the UK will meet up in a bar (where else?) where we will have a couple of quizzes so that you can see how well you understand how to drive on the continent. This will enable you to fill in any gaps in your knowledge if you haven’t been to France in recent years. You will also be issued with your Car Decals.

On Friday morning we take the ferry to Calais and then onwards to Burgundy. On the way there is time for a look around Paris, or perhaps you would prefer to visit Versailles. Then on Saturday, we move on to the French Riviera. As we are driving through wine country, there will be stops for wine-tasting before we arrive in Monaco in time for the F1 Grand Prix on Sunday.

One Of The Most Exciting Races Of The Season

The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most exciting Formula 1 races of the season, taking place as it does on the narrow streets of the city areas of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbour area. It is a very different race from most of those which take place on racing circuits.

After the excitement, on Monday we travel along the French and Italian Rivieras to Pisa where you can see the famous Leaning Tower built in 1173. It currently leans at an angle of 3.99°. Engineers have been working to stabilise it, and it is reckoned to last for another 200 years or more. On this day, you can also visit the fabulous Ferrari Museum there. Not only that, but if you fancy yourself as the next Lewis Hamilton, you can try the Ferrari Racing Simulator!

On Tuesday, we head on to Lichtenstein where you can buy lots of duty-free goods to take back home.

Wednesday, our Classic Car Rally heads to the Black Forest where, as luck would have it, there are two more motor museums, one for Mercedes and one for Porsche. We stop off at the campsite where we will distribute the Fireball Rally Awards and Certificates for the winners. Then next morning it’s back to Calais and home. What an amazing week you have had, meeting with many new friends as well!
